Created Unassigned: Framedrops in Spyro 3 [11759]

When running Spyro 3 in PCSXr using the OGL2 graphics plugin, I suffer from significant framedrops, whereas using the same plugin in ePSXe results in constant fullspeed.
I assume is because of the higher accuracy of PCSXr, however I am running an i5 3450 at 4GHz, an overclocked 770, and 8GB of DDR3, I doubt this should be an issue.

I should also add that the framedrops occur regardless of GPU plugin, as they even occur using a soft renderer.

(An easy way to see the framedrop is to enter Cloud Spires, the second level, and when you gain control of Spyro, the frames should dip heavily, until you turn around and face the blank skybox, where the frames shoot up. Again, this does not occur in ePSXe)
