In FF8 it seems like it don't want to go up the stairs to the TV station, when I run up the stairs and to the end of the screen to get to the next place, I get the black screen that indicates that you are going to a new place, but then it comes back and I am back to the previous place, and I don't think it's anything wrong with the CD-images, I used two different ones, and this is not the only place where it have happened.
Also when I visit certain shops I can't leave, because I end up right back...

Confirmed. On Configuration/Controllers, switching from Analog Controller to DIgital Controller works.
