During battle mode the only part that's visible is the characters and enemies. The bottom part of the screen where the characters' stats and battle options aren't showing. Any way I can get help with this issue?

Actually, this has been happening to me with Final Fantasy Ⅷ, I found out that under the OpenGL Driver Configuration Window, under the Offscreen drawing, select Enhanced.
This pretty much did it for FF Ⅷ to work, however, when roaming around with Balamb Garden, it shows fine until you get into a battle. Once the battle is done, both the character and the garden are no longer rendered, you can only see the shadow of them. Once you get to the Ragnarök, that does not show at all and can easily be lost. To correct this, I simply set the Offscreen drawing, select Extended. That corrects that for the most part, but certain things begin to flicker.
