I just recently had the ubuntu OS installed onto my computer. I downloaded the pcsx emulator, and it has been working great. I've played Final Fantasy 7 and a handful of other games without any problems, but when I tried to play Final Fantasy 8 today it wouldn't let me save and the screen freezes when a battle starts. I'm pretty new to all of this. Am I missing something? Should I install anything extra to get the .bin file to work properly? I'm just confused and would like some help. Thanks!

If your using the hle-bios, you need to extract your playstation 1 bios then place it in the
.pcsxr/bios directory. And then run pcsxr click on configure it to use the playstion bios.
