Commented Issue: dfxvideo plugin broken with latest Linux distros [11431]

It seems that either scrambled image or black screen output is produced by the plugin f.e. with Ubuntu 13.10 or Debian 7.

I believe it is something that has changed with latests xorg iterations.

I have noticed this as well. I was using xvideo because the intel graphics drivers apparently have issues with some 2d objects moving and causing lots of slowdown. However, until someone fixes it I'm stuck with the slowdown.
