I'm using the Linux version from SVN, with a generic twin PS2-like joypad (where two joypads are connected to the same USB slot). The system recognizes it ok and all buttons register. The controller configuration dialog works normally when the controller is disconnected, but refuses to appear when it connects. The BIOS is emulated (best feature ever, btw).
In the game (Saga Frontier in my case, but I strongly believe the game has nothing to do with it), the joypad is unusable. Keyboard buttons respond as normal.
Version 1.9.93, with the same joypad, works without a hitch.

Regression occurred in r87020 by edgbla. Currently looking into the issue.
