The controller randomly stops working for a split second every now and then, buttons don't register, and the latest button or direction I pressed repeats (for example player character moves on its own in the latest direction for a second). This only happens if I select the bios file, if I use "simulate bios" it doesn't happen, but the sound is broken in the game I wanted to play without the bios (Raystorm).
Is this a known issue? Any way to fix?

The game needs a BIOS file for proper sound and it works without problems with it. I am using the GNU/Linux port, though. Are you using the latest revision for your operating system?
