Created Unassigned: SaGa Frontier game cannot be saved or loaded [11478]
New Post: Why do you force linux user to compile from a source?
i like the idea for not installing the program.
I download it, extract it, then run it.
Much easier then build from tar.gz.
( sorry for my english )

Commented Unassigned: Video output freezes in battle scenes in Valkyrie Profile [11113]
A comment was left about the game freezing the video output in combat; that is the exact problem this game has when being emulated.
I've made a post here as well: http://www.ngemu.com/forums/showthread.php?t=154565
Reports say pSX run under a certain flag can correct this issue: http://psxemulator.proboards.com/thread/2038/valkyrie-profile
I've tried multiple GPU and SPU plugins along with most of the emulator options in the 'CPU' dialogue. Nothing's fixed it.
Really don't want to try yet another emulator; I've found my place with PCSXR.
Hopefully someone can look at what pSX is doing when it's running under that 'event reschedule' mode and apply it to PCSXR, with a relevant option of course.

Hello,
I have the same problem with the latest version of PCSX-Reloaded (1.9.93).
I have tried almost everything in the CPU/GPU/Sound configuration, but the problem is still here.
Any help would be gladly appreciated.
Thanks.
Created Unassigned: Controller configuration dialog doesn't appear when controller is connected [11479]
In the game (Saga Frontier in my case, but I strongly believe the game has nothing to do with it), the joypad is unusable. Keyboard buttons respond as normal.

Commented Unassigned: Toshinden 3 - crash after two battles [11302]
Comments: ** Comment from web user: Wrilliam **
NTSC-J crashes the emulator right after the second fight, before returning to the character select screen.
PAL crashes during a third battle.
Commented Unassigned: SF Collection and Toshinden Subaru issues [11170]
Toshinden Subaru (NTSC-J): Introduction in Team Story mode is messed up - sound plays normally, but video delays too much to appear. After the intro, audio keeps playing, but the game itself hangs. This doesn't occur in ePSXe 1.8.0.
Comments: ** Comment from web user: Wrilliam **
I tried to change SF Collection CD1's CUE file, but their INDEX must be at 00:00:00, otherwise CDmage gives an error upon trying to open it (probably because the audio tracks are separated from the main binary data). Changing the audio tracks' file type from BIN to WAV didn't help either.
Anything else I could try?

I'll look into it when I have the time.
Commented Unassigned: Nearest Neighbour Filter [11471]
Comments: ** Comment from web user: MaddTheSane **
A nearest neighbor filter for which plug-in? The softGL plug-in? There might be a shader you can use that might do that, but I'll probably have to set something else up using OpenGL calls.
Commented Feature: [OS X] localization [11237]
Comments: ** Comment from web user: MaddTheSane **
Someone was generous enough to do the Chinese localization, so if there's no change in the OS X interface, it should be good.

Created Unassigned: Sound has suddenly stopped [11493]
Mode: fast mode (this was to eliminate crackling audio. Switching to high compatibility does not solve the issue)
Volume: loudest
Reverb: PSX reverb
Interpolation: Gaussian
Change XA music is checked, as is SPU IRQ.
I am completely baffled. I don't know what could have changed. If anyone has any suggestions or needs more info, please let me know.

How about increasing the customization of the controller plugin. I have a spare "d-pad" control that I could use for saving "freezes", defreezing and browsing them. Then I wouldn't need to keep near the keyboard which is the only other method to save and load these freezes.

I used to use a PSX emulator software called PsxEven, under windows, which was great. I used Pete's plugins mainly but any graphics plugin, if you check to show FPS onscreen, the last number in the line there, is the number of the 'freeze' snapshot presently referenced. With that onscreen you can keep a live check on which freeze you are using and manage them visually. The GPU plugins in PCSX reloaded (for Mac OS X at least) do not show a "live" FPS info line, it is fixed. How about making it live so we can use it as I just described.
Created Unassigned: Breath of Fire 4 FPS limit problem [11495]
Whats interesting is that the built in FPS counter doesnt even register the slowdowns but they are VERY noticable its atleast a drop to 30 fps or maybe even lower. So far I tried : Soft Driver 1.17, OpenGL Driver 1.78, Pete's OpenGL Driver 2.9 and Gsdx 1.14 in every instances its the same. I set all the settings off/lowest and all on/max also tried some combinations in between and its always the same with FPS limit on it lags in certain areas while without it its always max FPS which is 200 i guess? Read somehwere that audio plugins might cause slowdowns too so tried direct sound 1.0 and 1.9 but no change.
My pc is a AMD A-5800k Quad@4.4Ghz, 8GB DDR3-2133Mhz and a Radeon 7770 HD 1024MB.
Hope someone knows some solution to this problem of mine as I really enjoy the game and I'd love to enjoy it without those annoying slowdowns. All help greatly appreciated.
